thats true, but you need to have 3 that can start! the redskins are at that point as well. they got the right idea with this brennan kid. and as stupid as everyone thinks the packers are with this farve thing, they are building smart as well, they have rodgers, and drafted brohm, and the kid from lsu to start to build that qb pool. balt. is doing the same, boller, smith, and the rookie they drafted this year. young guys to pool. but if you got the chance to bring in a vet to take some heat off that pool so it can develop, you gotta. tampa has done a good job with their young guys. they like the old vets to start, (maybe farve now) and then pool the young guys.....grudens always liked those vets, smart coach! so there's 2 ways to go. young guys, and a lot of them, or a win now approach and bring in vets....not sure which is best, but you gotta have three capable of starting at some pont of the season. if your starter goes down, your backup becomes your starter, then your #3 becomes your backup, who needs to be able to start if your now starter goes down. i guess i like the vet, but young guys gotta start sometime or another?????

Not a big fan of Leftwich. Any time you are taking about a #3 QB it means you are looking forward to the next season already. At least Linehan seems to know now that you at least need to have 3 on your roster for when people get hurt.
