Writing On The Wall For Jim Haslett

AUTHOR: stlvinnie | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

I don’t care about any High School petition from the St. Louis Rams players who want to keep Jim Haslett. Rams fans have already seen the writing on the wall for Jim Haslett. How can you still be on the fence for Haslett? In a year that will see five to ten head coaching changes in the NFL the Rams need to get a jump on their reorganization. Haslett should not be in the mix, he should already be fired. I will now push you over the fence (wall) with facts.
The Rams have lost 10 straight games, a franchise record [...]

2009 St. Louis Rams Schedule

AUTHOR: stlvinnie | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

The 2009 St. Louis Rams Schedule has been released. Dates of the games have not been set yet. The Rams will play four 2008 playoff teams in 2009. The records of the Rams 2009 opponents were 119-137 in 2008. That is a winning percentage of only .464. The Rams have very hard games against the Tennessee Titans and Indianapolis Colts in 09. If you throw out those two games Rams opponents were 94-130 for a .419 winning percentage. The Rams play in the worst division in football and need to find a way to start winning division games again.

A Fans Most Dreaded day

AUTHOR: stlvinnie | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

Today is every fans most dreaded day. Today is the day the St. Louis Rams 2008 season will come to an end. Fans of 20 NFL teams will all experience this today. Only one team of the 32 will not experience a day like today. Die-hard football fans all dread this day. This is the day when there is no “wait till next week”. Women never seem to understand the significance of this day for us men. We live for Sunday and now it will be momentarily shut down and taken away from us. Sure we can watch all of [...]

Week 17 St. Louis Rams Injury Report

AUTHOR: stlvinnie | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

The following is the Week 17 St. Louis Rams Injury Report from NFL.com. All injury reports for this weeks games can be found here at NFL.com. The Atlanta Falcons still have a chance to win the NFC South with a win and a Carolina Panthers loss. The Rams have offensive line issues, what else is new. With Richie Incognito and Jacob Bell doubtful, Steven Jackson may have a tough time getting the 119 yards he needs to reach 1000 on the season. Atlanta has 10 players listed as questionable which is not good one week before the 2008 NFL Playoffs [...]

Merry Christmas St. Louis Rams Fans

AUTHOR: stlvinnie | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

Merry Christmas St. Louis Rams Fans. The St. Louis Rams have already given each fan two great gifts this holiday season by removing John Shaw and Jay Zygmunt from positions of power within the Rams organization. By this Sunday evening I would like two additional gifts which will be the firing of Jim Haslett and Al Saunders. This wish however probably will not happen until Billy Devaney decides their fate.
This past Monday, Jay Zygmunt, the president of Rams football operations and GM, resigned. This was a move that was long overdue. The Rams are 5-26 over their last 31 [...]

NFL Week 17 Predictions

AUTHOR: stlvinnie | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

Every week I will make my NFL GameDay predictions. We would love it if you share your opinions, or your own predictions in the comment area of our Fan-Sided forum area. All picks will be straight-up, not against the spread. We are doing pretty good so far going 148-91-1 (62%). My NFL Week 17 Predictions are below. Good Luck to you.
The Kansas City Chiefs over the Miami Dolphins was my upset pick of the week last week. The Chiefs were right there but could not pull it off. This week is extremely hard. Some teams have to win, some teams [...]

Kenneth Darby Tackled By Referee

AUTHOR: stlvinnie | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

Kenneth Darby, was tackled by referee Garth DeFelice during Sunday’s 17-16 loss against the San Francisco 49ers. Darby at 5-10 and 210 pounds was leveled by DeFelice on the play. Lucky for me I was there to see it live since the St. Louis Rams were once again blacked out. It was hard to believe that our running back was knocked flat on his back my an unarmed referee. Rams fans have seen many things this year but this was a first. Darby was a 7th round draft pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2007. Darby has produced 294 [...]
