The Five Finalists

The St. Louis Rams have appeared to narrow their coaching search down to five finalist. I can’t believe John Shaw still seems involved in this search or that Jim Haslett is still a possibility for 2009 Head Coach. I believe Steve Spagnuolo and Rex Ryan are the best candidates but there is no telling what the Rams are thinking or why they are thinking it. Spagnuolo has been to a Superbowl with the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants. Spagnuolo has worked under Tom Coughlin, Andy Reid and Jim Johnson. He should have a large list of candidates to bring along to put together a nice coaching staff. Rex Ryan also has over 20 years of coaching experience, 10 with the Baltimore Ravens and has also been to a Superbowl. In addition his brother Rob and father Buddy have been involved in the NFL for a long time as well. At this point I am still at the point of saying anything is better than Jim Haslett. What are your thoughts and who do you want to be the next head coach of the St. Louis Rams?

Leslie Frazier – 49 year old Defensive Coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings
Jason Garrett – 42 year old Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach of the Dallas Cowboys
Jim Haslett – 53 year old interim Head Coach of the St. Louis Rams IS HE FIRED YET???
Rex Ryan – 46 year old Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens
Steve Spagnuolo – 49 year old Defensive Coordinator of the New York Giants
