Rams Scrimmage Looks Promising

The Rams held a scrimmage at Lindenwood University on Friday night. Here are some of the updates:

-Quincy Butler and Chris Draft impressed on the defensive side of the ball. Butler had an interception while Draft was in on several tackles.

-Mike Karney was suited up and even practiced during a morning drill. Hopefully this means he is fully recovered from his sprained ankle.

-Chris Long was able to get into the backfield every now and then, but since it was a scrimmage, QBs were off limits.

-The receivers appear to be holding their own in camp. Keenan Burton, Tim Carter, and Donnie Avery all had catches of 15+ yards.

-Antonio Pittman started for the second team offense, causing me to grow even more confused on trying to figure out the Ram’s RB picture.
