Laurent Robinson sustained a leg injury during the second quarter of the Packers game this Sunday. Now when he went down the first thing that crossed my mind was “Exactly what we need, to be even thinner at the receiver position”. Well, my nightmare has come true as the Rams announced today that WR Laurent Robinson will be out for the season with a fractured fibula.
Up to this point, Robinson had been the Rams best season and he was poised to have a breakout year. It is always dissapointing to see someone work as hard as Laurent did, [...]

Boller. Bulger. Bradford?
As we all know by now, the Rams fell to the Green Bay Packers in ugly fashion 36-17. If any positives came out of the game however, its that if the Rams have a quarterback playing at least average, this offense has a chance of moving the ball. After Marc Bulger went down with an injury, Kyle Boller stepped in and led the Rams to two touchdowns and had the fans believing that a comeback may be in the works.
So this raises an interesting question. Who is going to be the quarterback that will lead this Rams’ rebuilding [...]
0-16? I Think Not
Within the first few weeks of every football season, experts and fans alike begin to conclude who will end up being the worst team in football. This of course, leads to weeks of plotting out who the Lions/Texans/Raiders should take with the first overall selection which also in turn leads to speculation that some teams begin to “tank” games at the end of the season.
Last season the Rams started out horribly, but thanks to an awful Detroit Lions team along with two big upsets, St. Louis was able to escape the talks of worst in the league. This [...]
Rams Injury List
As every football season goes, the list of injuries tend to pile on very quickly, regardless of how severe. Here is the list of injuries for the Rams heading into Week 3:
OT Jason Smith (knee sprain: Doubtful)
C Jason Brown (knee sprain: Probable)
T Alex Barron (thigh bruise: Probable)
TE Daniel Fells (shin: Probable)
CB Justin King (hamstring: Probable)
G John Greco (wrist: Questionable)
S Craig Dahl (Probable)
As you can see, the offensive line is very banged up, but don’t get too concerned. It appears Smith is the only player who will actually be missing serious playing time out of all the starting lineman. [...]
The St. Louis Rams nearly pulled out a win in Washington today, but a crucial fumble cost them points, momentum, and possibly the game. For the second straight game WR Donnie Avery fumbled the ball, this one coming on the Redskin’s 3 yard line while the Rams were driving in for a score.
Mistakes aside, the Rams played a great game and showed a tremendous amount of promise as they drive towards a brighter future. Steven Jackson had a great game, racking up 104 yards on the ground while Laurent Robinson proved to be a great playmaker as he hauled in [...]
Rams vs. Redskins Preview
While the Rams are coming off a 28-0 loss, the Redskins enter the game following a tough 23-17 loss to the NY Giants. Last year, these two teams played an incredible game that ended with a game-winning field goal kick by the Rams’ Josh Brown. This year, the Rams are going to need an absolute 180 degree turnaround if they want to beat the ‘Skins. Here are the following things to watch for:
Can the Rams establish a ground game?: Last week Steven Jackson had a couple of good carries, but overall he struggled to really establish himself [...]
Rams Flag Giveaway
Have you ever stood outside, stared at a flagpole, and thought, “Wow, that’d be a great place to really show people my enthusiasm for my Rams.”? Yeah, me either. However, the opportunity was actually pointed out to me, I realized that every true fan needs a flag flying proudly. Sure you might not be willing to provide a flagpole, but through creative thinking you can have any of the following:
A new table cloth (no really I have no clue how big the flag is, but I hear good things)
An awesome super hero cape (You could name yourself [...]
Rams-Seahawks Post Game Wrap Up
Yesterday, the Rams showed how young of a team they are in a brutal 28-0 loss against the Seahawks. Despite a lot of things going right for the Rams, far too many things went wrong and in the end the team did not seem like they were not yet capable of playing as a single unit. Lets take a look at the bright side:
The defense proved that they can create oppurtunity, intercepting QB Matt Hasselbeck twice and forcing a fumble.
LB James Lauranaitis showed that he is ready to be a starter in this league. He suffered an injury [...]
