This weekend, the Rams travel to Detroit to take on one of this decades worst football teams, the Lions.
The Lions have managed to pull of one win against the Washington Redskins, while the Rams on the other hand, are yet to come out on top during any of their seven contests. So far Spags has somehow been able to keep this team focused and keep their spirits high and if he can carry that attitude into this week’s game, then the Rams have a legitimate shot at picking up a win. For all of you saying “Its the Lions, how [...]

The Breakdown
Steven Jackson ran hard all throughout the game, racking up well over 100 yards. Sadly, he was the only Ram who decided to show up, and St. Louis fell hard to the Indianapolis Colts 42-6. Peyton Manning was Peyton Manning, Marc Bulger was…not Peyton Manning, and virtually anything the Colts wished to do, they did.
Will Witherspoon, You Will Be Missed
This Brandon Gibson guy better turn out to be a good receiver, because the Rams showed on sunday why Will Witherspoon was such a significant part of the defense. The Rams struggled against the run, and they had no answer [...]
As the trade deadline neared, the Rams traded their solid linebacker Will Witherspoon to the Philadelphia Eagles for rookie WR Brandon Gibson and an undisclosed draft pick. Although I understand the Rams need help at the wide receiver position, I am struggling to understand why they would trade away one of their more solid defensive players for a rookie receiver that is yet to play a down.
When I saw the update “Rams trade Witherspoon.” I thought we would possibly have received a somewhat established receiver, but I guess when you are a team that understands it won’t be making the [...]
Rams’ Chances Against the Colts
Let me start out by stating some simple, unavoidable facts. The Indianapolis Colts are yet to be taken down this year with a 5-0 record. The Rams on the other hand are yet to take anyone down with an 0-6 record. The Colts currently have the longest winning streak in the league while the Rams haven’t won a game in more than a year. If there was ever a more uneven matchup, this would be it.
However, you can never count a team out of a game, ever. Last week the Philadelphia Eagles visited Oakland in what appeared to be a [...]
For any of you people in the St. Louis area, today is your chance to meet K Josh Brown and P Donnie Jones.
The Rams incredible special teams duo will be at the St. Louis Mills Mall today, Tuesday October 30th, from 6:30-7:30 where they will be signing autographs and meeting with fans.
I don’t know about you, but I believe Donnie Jones definitely should have went to the Pro Bowl last season, therefore anytime you get a chance to meet such a high caliber player, I’d be on board for that. Sadly, I’m on the other side of America. If anyone [...]
Rams Can’t Hang On, Fall to 0-6
The Breakdown
The defense made huge plays, Marc Bulger came back strong, Donnie Avery had a touchdown grab, and the Rams had the lead with less than three minutes to go in the game. Never-the-less, the Rams found a way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, losing 23-20 to the Jaguars this afternoon. The highlights:
-DE Leonard Little returned an interception 36 yards late in the fourth quarter to give the Rams a 17-13 lead.
-QB Marc Bulger found Donnie Avery on a 17 yard touchdown pass to give the Rams the lead early. It was a great start to what [...]
Lately all I’ve been hearing is how bad of an owner Rush Limbaugh would be. Its not that I don’t think he would a bad owner, I just really think they are dramatically overplaying how bad of an owner he would be. Over time Hollywood has brought us several owners that I’m sure would cause Rams fans and football fans alike to throw the biggest temper tantrums. Lets take a look at them:
Name: Christina Pagniacci
Owner of: Miami Sharks
Christina Pagniacci. She is the reason for the word (insert favorite insult here). Based off of Cowboy owner Jerry Jones, Christina had a [...]
Last week it was reported that Rush Limbaugh had officially made a bid for the Rams along with Dave Checketts. In the small window of time since the story broke, it has been absolute chaos. So much so that I’ve actually become hesitant about posting anything on it out of fear that a drastically different viewpoint would emerge. Everyone is trying to force Limbaugh out of this bid, and it appears they were successful in doing so. Here is the short list of people highly against Limbaugh buying the Rams:
-NFL Union Leader DeMaurice Smith
-Al Sharpton
-Jesse Jackson
-Just [...]
Headlines of the 38-10 Loss
So I’m going to try something new this week. Rather than just give you a summary of the game and then call out a certain part of the team, I’m just going to cover the game in sections. Anyways here we go.
The Rams are Sort of Bad
The Rams struggled the whole game on both sides of the ball and once again received a butt whooping in a 38-10 loss to the Vikings. As if the offense and the defense didn’t struggle enough, penalties and plenty of fumbles to go around solidified another brutal loss for a Rams team that is [...]
Okay quick trivia, when was the last time the Rams wore their Yellow and Blue jerseys? I’ll give you a hint, LB Mike Jones made the final play of the game the last time they were worn.
I sincerely hope you guessed Super Bowl XXXIV, I was only 8 when that game took place and I remember it. Anyways, here we are 10 years later and a lot has changed. I’m 18 now, the Rams have already lost more games this season then they did the entire 1999 season, and we do not have the greatest show on [...]
