As most bye weeks go, this week was generally very quiet and soothing for a St. Louis Rams team coming off a win against the Detroit Lions. Here are a few notes of the events of the past week:
-Hope you didn’t get used to seeing WR Tim Carter around. The Rams waved Carter and signed CB Danny Gorrer off of the Saints’ practice squad.
-G Jacob Bell received great news. He was able to pass his concussion test and will be fine to go next week against the Saints.
-G Richie Incognito, who has been missing severe time lately, was finally able to get out of walking boot, but his overall status is unknown as of now.
-The Rams next opponent, the New Orleans Saints, are currently losing 17-6 to the Carolina Panthers. Hopefully the Rams are watching this game and noticing how vulnerable the Saints are to the run. Deangelo Williams has over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half alone.
-WR Danny Amendola still hasn’t received much news on the concussion he suffered during the Detroit game. He did nothing more than ride a bike during practice, and things don’t appear to be going too well at the moment for the Rams return man.
