Bulger Fractures Leg, Most Likely Done For Year

Is there no justice in this football world?  For the past couple seasons all of us Rams fans have sat here and groned over the struggles of QB Marc Bulger.  Lately though, guess what?  He wasn’t struggling so much.  In fact, he was showing signs of the Bulger of old, but was held back due to a young and inexperienced receiving core.

This has more than likely all come to an end, at least for this season.  Bulger has been diagnosed with a fractured leg that will hold him out as long as six weeks.  Even if he is healthy in four or five weeks, what is the point in bringing him back and risking further injury?  I would not have a problem with Bulger being our quarterback for a couple more seasons, but it appears his tenure in 2009 is over.

Keith Null and Brock Berlin will be the two quarterbacks the rest of the way, hopefully they can keep the rhythm the offense was building and continue to expand upon it.
