Rams Have One More Shot To Win Another…

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

Following a close loss to the Texans and an ugly loss to the Cardinals, the Rams have one last shot to win one this sunday against the 49ers. All those who have been cheering for losses in order to get the first overall pick, well we already have that locked up so no need to worry folks. Tampa has suddenly been stringing together wins, therefore the Rams will have the 2010 first overall pick (unless they do the smart thing and trade it for several other picks). Breakdown of the game coming soon. Holidays had me busy, sorry for the [...]

Incognito Just Lost $50K

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

To be honest with you, I never wanted to have to type the name Richie Incognito ever again, but this news brought such a big freakin’ smile to my face that I couldn’t resist. In what has got to be the first time I’ve ever agreed with Roger Goodell on anything, the NFL has fined Incognito $50,000 for the two headbutts he committed during the Titans game.  In the letter to Incognito, Goodell also stated that if Incognito keeps up this act, he will be more severely penalized (Oh please please please let it be a headbutt from Ray Lewis). [...]

Rams Vs. Texans to Be Blacked Out (And Other News)

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

First off, this is my fourth post today, that has got to be a Rams blog record. Let me know when the Blogger Hall of Fame gets invented, I want in. -The Rams were unable to get an extension on their blackout deadline. The result? This sunday’s game versus the Texans has been blacked out. -For those who for some reason care, G Richie Incognito was claimed off waivers this morning by the Buffalo Bills.  The Miami Dolphins put in a claim on the tattooed penalty champ as well, but due to the Bills having a worse record, they were [...]

Uh oh, We’ve Got the Swine Flu

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

I am so tired of hearing about Swine Flu. It is everywhere you look. News, schools, malls, everywhere you see someone with one of those ugly little masks on to protect them against the deadly virus. Well, prepare yourself because it appears the Rams are getting a first hand look at the problems caused by the H1N1 virus. Today, Spags shut down practice after several players showing symptoms of the disease were diagnosed by the teams medical staff. Of the five or six players showing symptoms, the two that were recognized were QB Kyle Boller and C Jason Brown. Hopefully [...]

R.I.P. Chris Henry

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

Chris Henry, a receiver for the Cincinatti Bengals, died early this morning, a day after falling out of the back of his pickup truck.  He was 26 years old.  The reports say the reason for his tumble was a domestic dispute, but that really isn’t important at the moment.  If you’re looking for the details as to the cause of the domestic dispute then I’m afraid you’re on the wrong page, I’m just here to pay my respects to a great football player, great role model, and great human being. Despite his ugly past, I’ve heard nothing but good things [...]

Bye Bye Richie

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

“Just when I thought you couldn’t be any dumber, you go and do something like this…and totally redeem yourself!!!” -Dumb and Dumber Okay so maybe this isn’t a complete redemption for the Rams, but they may have made the greatest possible move ever.  In case you haven’t heard, as of this week, G Richie “I love 15 yard penalties” Incognito is now off the team, released by the Rams front office. Incognito, a third round pick of the Rams back in 2005, was without a doubt my least favorite Ram.  It seemed everytime a Rams drive began gaining life, Incognito [...]

Can The Rams Upset The Texans?

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: 1 Comment

No. It is my job as a blogger to hand out the brutal truth about everything Rams related, regardless of topic.  Therefore, let me break down this game as honestly as possible for you. OJ Atogwe, the player who I’d consider to be the heart and soul of the defense, is out for the year.  This defense has absolutely no identity, no MO, no real leadership.  Leonard Little and Chris Long have been solid on the line at times this season, but they can’t seem to get on the same page (Little shined early in the season, Long has been [...]

If Spags Had A Christmas List…

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

Its that time of the year again.  Snow Rain is falling, Christmas songs flood your radio, the playoff picture is beginning to form, and children all around the world are starting to fill out their lists for Santa.  My Christmas list for instance consists of a wide variety of items from a Chris Long jersey all the way to a Ferrari (I’m not a strong believer in dreaming small in order to avoid dissapointment).  However the most selfless Christmas list will most likely be found under Steve Spagnuolo’s tree.  I’d imagine if we were able to cast our eyes upon [...]

Rams Embarrased In Loss

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: 4 Comments

I believe I speak for all of Rams’ nation when I say its starting to get really old starting out every game summary with “Rams embarrased, Rams destroyed, Rams step backwards”.  Unfortunately, nothing changed this week as things just got worse.  If you wish to read the game summary, then please read on, however keep in mind this post is not for the faint of heart: The Breakdown First, the score.  The Rams lost to the Titans 47-7.  There was no typo in that statement.  Now before you throw out a sarcastic comment about how I shouldn’t be surprised because [...]
