I know he struggled in the preseason, but he wa learning a new scheme and a new position. The man can cover in pass defense, and I think if he would have gotten an opportunity, he could have improved his other aspects of the game. Didn't like giving up on Roger Allen III, Null, Carpenter, Butler, or Null. I think all deserve a spot, also don't like having 4 TEs. I kno Allen was hurt all preseason but he gave his heart and his toughness showed, so i would very much like to see him on our practice squad. I also think Carpenter should of been given at least a chance (he prob can cover a TE better than anyone else we have). Betty White here.
