More Free Agency Talks

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

Santonio Holmes WR (Jets) : Maybe We could end up getting Santonio Holmes but he might want to stay in New York. Which they are starting to decline. You cant build on a lot of veterans. Which thats how Davaney is doing his draft. We need a #1 wide reciever and Santonio might be that type of guy. I dont know, but Santonio and Braylon could both join a team after their relationship from last year. I wish to put doubtful but we dont know. Braylon Edwards WR (Jets): Highly As I was saying with Holmes we could [...]

What About Reggie Bush?

AUTHOR: | IN: Popular, Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

It seems like news on potential targets for the Rams are becoming far too frequent these days, but with the lockout there’s really not much news to write about other than that. I have to admit that I get happy every time I hear a national writer mention the Rams as a possible destination for a high-profile player, because for several of those down years the only time the Rams were mentioned were as the butt of a joke. Mike Florio over at ProFootballTalk.com had some interesting things to say about Saints running back Reggie Bush today, and I thought [...]

Free Agency Mock -Rams

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

With the Labor issue almost settled in St. Louis. NFL is already setting out rules for free agency. Hinting that the lockout is almost over and offseason can start late. I just want to put in who I think will be signed. Sidney Rice WR (Vikings): Highly                                                                                                                          The Rams organization is the most interested team in Sidney Rice. Not even Minnesota has a much interest as we do; tagging Chad Greenway over him. Sidney should go to a team that actually wants and need him. Anyways with Sidney to the lineup that is a major upgrade to [...]

More Moss Speculation

AUTHOR: | IN: Popular, Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

So, I did a post a few days ago about Randy Moss moving on from Tennessee and how the Rams could possibly have some level of interest due to their lack of a number one wide receiver and his connection to OC Josh McDaniels. As I was surfing the web today looking at NFL stuff, I came across an article at ESPN.com by NFC West blogger Mike Sando (written today) discussing the very same thing. Sando pretty much discusses the same points I hit on, including the opinion that the team will move forward with what they have. Sando does [...]

Top Rams Draft Successes #1!

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

#1 Isaac Bruce WR Drafted: 1994: Round 2, Pick 33 –Funny Brett Favre was picked here in 1991                 Isaac Bruce is the best Drafted player the Rams picked. He was noticeable at high school but not enough in college. College has a way different playbook then spread offense. Maybe the worse receiver can become the best on a team; Marques Colston. Isaac was way better though. He transferred through 3 schools and still was a first pick in a round; Cameron Newton. What made Isaac different is…                 Isaac came in 1994 with a small contract, but big [...]

Quintin Mikell Bound For STL?

AUTHOR: | IN: Popular, Rams | COMMENTS: 2 Comments

This is normally the time of the offseason when we could look at the potential free agents and try to decide who we would like to see the Rams pursue, but this lockout is really screwing things up. As it it, we are stuck with conjecture and innuendo about which players may or may not be available when this dispute finally ends. Speaking of conjecture, it looks like Eagles safety Quintin Mikell may be prepared to hit the open market. According to an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer, Mikell does not believe he will be back with the Eagles next [...]

Moss Likely Back On The Market

AUTHOR: | IN: Popular, Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

When it became clear during the 2010 season that Randy Moss was on the market, I was the first one to voice my opinion that the Rams should jump at the chance to add the veteran wide receiver. Well, shocking (sarcasm) news broke this evening that that Titans will not be bringing back the talented but troubled pass-catcher when the 2011 season eventually kicks off. According to Tennessee GM Mike Reinfeldt, the team is happy with what they have.“I honestly don’t think we’ll try to re-sign him,” Reinfeldt said, via John Glennon of the Tennessean.  “We’ve got some young guys [...]

Should Rams Have Interest In Herzlich?

AUTHOR: | IN: Popular, Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

One of the major topics around NFL circles since the draft has been former Boston College LB Mark Herzlich, who went undrafted over the weekend. For those of you who don’t know the story on this kid, he was the ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2008, and then missed the 2009 season while battling cancer. After undergoing chemotherapy treatment and fighting the battle, he returned to the field in 2010 and had a very nice season, totaling 65 tackles, two forced fumbles, four interceptions and four pass breakups. According to a report, NFL teams are researching Herzlich’s medical [...]

Top Rams Draft Successes #2

AUTHOR: | IN: Rams | COMMENTS: None Yet

#2: QB: Sam Bradford Drafted: 2010 1st Round, 1st Pick He is the best success in helping the Rams get some wins. Also he survived a injury that could’ve dropped his stock. Sam Bradford set off explosives faster than Matt Ryan. And beat 3/4 of Peyton Manning’s rookie records. Sam Bradford came in the Preseason looking bad, then against the Patriots! He out scored and passed Tom Brady, Baltimore game was so so. Then in his first game, he looked like a draft bust. Which real Rams fans still believed Sam is a franchise quaterback. Then his Redskins game showed [...]
