Today is the day. NFL do-or-die. Owners and player reps are in Atlanta discussing and voting on the ratification of the new CBA deal that is on the table.
According to reports by ESPN, the owners are satisfied with the new deal and the only thing left to do is the players’ vote. Owners are set to vote today around 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Also left to be settled is the player antitrust lawsuit filed by Brady and Co. Two of the players involved in the lawsuit, Vincent Jackson and Logan Mankins, want to be free agents or get $10 million as settlement.
Hopefully this all gets settled soon. The start of the Rams’ training camp has already been delayed due to this situation – lets just hope nothing else gets affected.
