The Rams did add another player today, as they reportedly inked former Colts’ DT Dan Muir to a deal. Muir has been a starter for the Colts over the last few years, and he should add some more quality depth at the DT position after the team added Justin Bannan already. LB Brady Poppinga worked out for the team today, but we don’t know if he was offered a deal yet. As long as he is healthy and the workout went OK, I expect him to be signed in the coming days but we will have to wait and see. It also looks like the Rams made some cuts today, as WR Andrew Hawkins, DT Jimmy Saddler-McQueen and OL Beau Warren not at practice.
I really like the move bringing Muir in, as he is a veteran with starting experience in the league. Adding Muir and Bannan to what we already had should spell plenty of success for our defensive line this season. I love the way our D is shaking out at this point, and I think we have a chance to be even better on that side of the ball than we were last season.
