Blackmon Arrested For Aggravated DUI

Former Oklahoma St. WR Justin Blackmon was at the top of most Rams fans lists heading into the 2012 NFL Draft, but the Jacksonville Jaguars traded in front of the Rams to pick him up. As bad as that seemed at the time, it looks like it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. Blackmon was arrested in Stillwater, Oklahoma on Sunday morning for aggravated DUI, his second DUI arrest. Blackmon reportedly blew 0.24 on the breathalyzer after being pulled over for driving 60 mph in a 35 mph zone.

I was one of the biggest Blackmon supporters out there heading into the draft, but this is bad. I like to party as much as the next guy, unless of course that next guy is Blackmon. 0.24 is absolutely insane. If this was his first mistake with alcohol, it would be a different story, but it’s his second and could point to a problem. I still think he can be a great NFL receiver, but he obviously has some issues. Maybe the Michael Brockers pick isn’t looking so bad now?
