It feels like there is a renewed sense of hope surrounding the Rams here in St. Louis for the upcoming season, but apparently the rest of the football world isn’t convinced. ESPN’s John Clayton predicted the 2012 records for every team in 2012, and “The Professor” called a 4-12 season for the Rams.

I’m not going to sit here and hammer Clayton for his prediction, mainly because we have been the we have been the worst team in football over the last five seasons. I think we can be much better that four wins, but it’s hard to criticize someone who isn’t ready to buy in. Would I be shocked if the Rams finish 4-12? Not at all. Do I think it’s just as likely that we win six or seven? Yes, I do. It’s hard to predict what this team will do. With a healthy roster and a brand new ooaching staff, anything is possible. Let’s just hope Clayton is wrong about this one.
