Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, hope you have a great day today.  Of course Thanksgiving means football and there are 3 NFL games set to take place today.  The Cowboys and Lions will carry on their Thanksgiving tradition, while the New England Patriots and New York Jets will play the Thursday Night game this year.  Last weekend was a pretty good weekend picks wise, however that was overshadowed by the fact that the Rams fell flat on their face against the Jets.  So here are my picks for NFL Week 12.

Texans @ Lions. The Lions will host the Texans in their annual Thanksgiving day game to kick of the week.  This could be a high scoring and highly entertaining game.  Gonna go with the Texans in a nailbiter. Texans win 24-23.

Redskins @ Cowboys.  RGIII is coming off a sensational performance against the Eagles, but Tony Romo has been Mr. November throughout his career and is leading the more talented team. Cowboys win 27-20.

Patriots @ Jets. In an divisional matchup the Patriots will travel to New Jersey to take on the Jets.  The Jets are fresh off their rebound game against the Rams and will look to build some momentum.  The Patriots are just too good and Brady is playing too well.  Patriots win 31-13.

Vikings @ Bears.  Call me crazy but after watching the Bears offensive line get demolished by Aldon Smith, I have to believe that Jared Allen is licking his chops.  Cutler may or may not be back this weekend, but Adrian Peterson is sure to play and will have a big day.  Vikings win 16 – 7.

Raiders @ Bengals.  The Raiders have been disappointing this season, and Bengals appear as if they are ready to make a late season push.  This game could be a blowout, but I believe Carson Palmer plays well enough against his old team to keep it interesting.  Bengals win 20-13.

Steelers @ Browns.  Charlie Batch will be starting against the Browns which should keep the scoring low.  The Browns have improved over the season and will run the ball well with Trent Richardson. Browns win 16 – 6.

Bills @ Colts.  The Colts were handed a healthy dose of reality last weekend in New England.  Fortunately for them they return home to face the Bills, and Luck has been much more comfortable at home than on the road. Colts win 20-10.

Broncos @ Chiefs.  The Chiefs have been terrible this season and Brady Quinn may return to the starting lineup.  Meanwhile the Broncos seem to get better every week as Manning gets more comfortable with Decker and Thomas. Broncos win 28-6.

Seahawks @ Dolphins.  The Dolphins have hit a bit of a wall with Ryan Tannenhill recently, but they are at home and Seattle has been unimpressive going 1-4 on the road so far this season.  Their only road win was 16-12 against the Panthers(2-8). Dolphins win 17 – 10.

Falcons @ Bucs. The Falcons have struggled a little lately, narrowly avoiding the upset against the Cardinals last weekend.  The Bucs are surging and hoping for a wild card berth, look for Martin to have success and keep the Falcons offense off the field. Bucs win 24-20.

Titans @ Jaguars.  The Jaguars nearly pulled off the big upset last weekend, but close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.  Titans win 20 – 16.

Ravens @ Chargers.  I expect Flacco to finally have a little road success in this game.  Ray Rice will play well as always and the Ravens defense will do just enough to frustrate a slumping Philip Rivers.  Ravens win 28 – 21.

Rams @ Cardinals.  I don’t see the Cardinals offense scoring a touchdown under the direction of Rookie Ryan Lindley.  The Cardinals defense will have opportunities to make big plays, but the Rams offense bounces back after a poor showing against the Jets. Rams win 20 – 12.

49ers @ Saints.  Colin Kaepernick has been named the starter this week against the Saints.  The Saints are playing very well lately, but the 49ers are just a better team with the defense to slow down Drew Brees. 49ers win 24-21.

Packers @ Giants.  The Giants have hit their mid season slump, meanwhile the Packers are one of the hottest teams in the league.  Have to go with the team riding the momentum in what should be a very good game.  Packers win 27 -20.

Panthers @ Eagles.  This game is tough to pick because I  honestly believe the Eagles should be the better team, but then again they should be in contention for the NFC East instead of heading for a top 5 pick in the draft. Panthers win 13 – 6.
