After semi-depressing injury reports on both Wednesday and Thursday, the St. Louis Rams may have finally shaken off the injury bug that seemed to hit the team following the trip to Buffalo.
Steven Jackson and Janoris Jenkins both sat out of practice on Friday, although that seems to have become the regular schedule for Jackson this season. Jenkins missed due to illness, but will likely play on Sunday barring some unforeseeable setback.
The big three names throughout the week were James Laurinaitis, Cortland Finnegan, and Danny Amendola, all of which were either limited or did not practice on either Wednesday or Thursday. However, all three were back in action today and are excepted to play on Sunday. That means Sam Bradford will have both Danny Amendola and Chris Givens to target against the weakened Minnesota secondary.
For the Vikings, the news was much more bleak. Antoine Winfield and Adrian Peterson were both limited the entire week at practice, including today. Peterson has been elevated to “probable” for the game on Sunday, but Winfield is “questionable.”
