Earlier today, the official coin toss to see who would hold the first overall pick in tonight’s real live fantasy draft for the 2014 NFL Pro Bowl took place. The winner of the much-anticipated coin toss had the decision of picking a captain group, which was Robert Quinn and Drew Brees or Jamaal Charles and JJ Watt, or pick first in tomorrow’s draft.

When all was said and done, and there was a lot said because Deion Sanders was involved, Jerry Rice won the toss and decided to pick Drew Brees and Robert Quinn as his captains, leaving Deion Sanders with the first pick tomorrow and Jamaal Charles and JJ Watt.

It may be difficult to swallow for Quinn to have to play for a former San Francisco 49er, but when it’s a legend of the game like Jerry Rice, my guess is that he’ll get over it pretty quick.

The draft will be held tonight from 8-9p.m ET on the NFL network and then tomorrow night as well from 8-11p.m ET. The game itself will be played on Sunday at 7:30PM ET.

Also if Sanders can get the “O.K” from commissioner Roger Goodell, don’t be surprised if Sanders and Rice go head to head at some point during the game.

Goodell wanted excitement added to this game and as of now, it certainly looks like he’s got it. For once in his tenure as commissioner, Goodell may have finally gotten something right.
