The Super Bowl is finally here Rams fans and by now your probably all sick of pre-game and ready for the actual game to start. Unfortunately kickoff is still a few hours away, but while your waiting we’ll try to keep you busy with some of our BOLD predictions.

Peyton Manning Will Throw For 300+ Yards

The Seahawks have only allowed two 300 yard passers all season, Drew Brees and Matt Schaub. Peyton Manning has had two weeks to study this defense on his iPad, you better believe he’s going to know how to attack the Seahawks defense.

The Seahawks only allowed an average of 157 passing yards per game throughout the regular season, which means it’s definitely going to be a challenge for Manning, but if it’s one quarterback who can do it, it’s him.

Marshawn Lynch Won’t Rush For 100 Yards

If it’s one group that has stepped up this post season, it’s the Denver Broncos defense. Everybody had their doubts about this group coming into the post season, but they sure have stepped up.

the Broncos held Chargers running back Ryan Matthews to 26 yards after allowing him to run over them for 127 yards just a month earlier. In the championship round, the Patriots’ leading rusher, Shane Vereen, only and 34 yards, and LaGarrette Blount who broke out the week before only had six yards.

The Denver defense has played well in the postseason and their first priority is going to be stopping Marshawn Lynch.

A Non-Quarterback Will Win The MVP

Peyton Manning will make his share of plays, but he won’t make the play that wins the Broncos the game, that will go to Knowshon Moreno. Moreno runs for around 100 yards and leads the Broncos to victory, much like Terrell Davis did back in John Elway‘s day.

If the Seahawks win it will obviously be because of their defense. Russell Wilson will do what he does with his legs, but  if the ‘hawks win it will because Earl Thomas intercepted Peyton Manning twice and returned one of them for a touchdown.

This Will Be The First Super Bowl To Go To Overtime

Now this may not seem very “bold” as it is an easy bold prediction, but I really think it does. These are two extremely good teams and in the elements and the cold it is going to take extra time to decide this one.

Peyton Manning Says “Omaha” 45 times

So Peyton Manning loves Omaha Nebraska and only emphasizes it 40,000 times a game. He may not say “omaha” 40,000 times, but it will be close. Im going to say it will take 45 Omahas for Manning to walk away from Super Bowl XLVIII with a win.

The Denver Broncos Win Super Bowl XLVIII

It’s close, but I think the Broncos get an early lead, the Seahawks will climb back to tie it late and then Matt Prater wins it in overtime for Denver. Peyton Manning cements his legacy as the greatest quarterback of all-time and wins his second championship.

Enjoy your Super Bowl Sunday and get all your finger foods ready, because you’re not going to want to miss a minute of it.
