While we’ve gone through our fair share of mock drafts and will continue to do so until the NFL Draft finally arrives in May. Here at Ramblin’ Fan, we want to see who the fans want the Rams to take. Just like every mock draft, we will assume that the Rams were unable to trade up or trade back, this will be as if the Rams were actually choosing at number two and number 13 overall.

With The Second Overall Pick, The St. Louis Rams Select….?

Let us know who you want the Rams to take at number two overall using the poll below.

OT Greg Robinson

Robinson has been a consensus pick for the Rams from many experts. The Rams could use some help on the offensive line even if they do retain Saffold. Robinson is the best offensive tackle in the draft and is exactly what the Rams are looking for in a tackle.

DE Jadeveon Clowney

Although the Rams already have Quinn and Long, you can never have too many pass rushers or quality defensive lineman, and Clowney brings just that. He is said to be the most talented and best player in the draft and if you are drafting best player available, Clowney should be the pick.

OT Jake Matthews

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher coaches Jake’s father, Bruce, in Tennessee for eight years. Fisher likes to stick by his guys, and given the connection, Matthews could be the pick. Matthews gives the Rams a solid offensive tackle of the future to work with and would be a great fit.

LB Khalil Mack

Mack could test Clowney as being the best defender in the draft. This guy alongside Laurinaitis and Ogletree could make the Rams front seven the best in the league. The Rams play a lot of defense out of the nickel, but Mack could change that.

WR Sammy Watkins

Sammy Watkins was said by Mike Mayock to be one of the best receivers that he has seen come out in the past ten years. That is good news for the Rams considering they haven’t had a 1,000 yard receiver since Torry Holt. The Rams need a playmaker and Watkins could be that guy.

With The 13th Overall Pick The St. Louis Rams Select…?

Let us know who you want the Rams to take with the 13th overall pick using the poll below.

S Ha-Ha Clinton Dix

The Rams are missing a ball-hawking safety in their secondary, it was, without a doubt, one of their weak spots last season. Clinton Dix is the best safety in the draft and is worthy of a first round. The Rams will certainly consider him

S Calvin Pryor

Pryor is right there as the best safety in the draft. Pryor is good in run support and is able to be the cover guy over the top to help out corners Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson. The Rams will have a big decision when it comes to which safety they select.

CB Darqueze Dennard

The Rams just released cornerback Cortland Finnegan and could use some depth at the position. Although I believer TCU’s Jason Verrett is the better fit for the Rams, Dennard is one of the best cover corners in the draft and has great instincts in coverage.

DT Aaron Donald

If the Rams decide to move on from the severely underrated Kendall Langford, Donald would be a nice option to put next to Brockers. Donald could help plug up the middle and he has good pass rushing skills.

WR Mike Evans

The Rams need a big target on the outside, and Evans is certainly that. Evans would give Bradford a true number one receiver for the first time in his career. If the Rams miss out on Watkins, Evans could be the pick.

WR Marqise Lee

If Evans just happens to get taken and the Rams are set on taking a wide receiver in the first round or jut simply like Lee, they could take him. Lee is a solid route runner and has great big play ability.

Well there you have it Rams fans, take the role of GM and select who you would want the Rams to take on draft day. We will go over the results on Sunday. If none of your choices are above feel free to cast your vote in the comment section below.
