Twitter Reacts To Greg Robinson To The Rams

With the second overall pick the St. Louis Rams took Auburn offensive lineman Greg Robinson to help protect Sam Bradford and open up running lanes for Zac Stacy. Here’s what the fans on Twitter though about the pick.

    Don’t get this pick. Could’ve had a tackle at thirteen. Missed on a playmaker. Watkins/ Mack

      Rams got manhandled at the line of scrimmage against NFC West opponents. I wasn’t for this pick at first and even now would have rather had Matthews, but for what the Rams are going to use him for Robinson makes sense.

        They also have possibly the best OL coach in the league today. The only thing he’s weak on is his pass pro technique – if he’s going to learn that anywhere it’ll be with the Rams. Guard year one, heir to Jake Long’s throne after that.

        Agreed. And with the second pick of Donald I think the Robinson pick looks a lot better. If he didn’t fall to them as wasn’t expected I think the first round for STL looks a lot different. It worked out though and the picks look pretty good.
