The NFC West continues to be the most competitive division in football, and that didn’t change when the draft started last Thursday. The Rams and 49ers made a lot of noise, but the Cardinals and Seahawks weren’t far behind. Here’s the draft recap of every team in the NFC west as well as their best picks, worst picks, and overall grade.

Apparently the Rams feel confident in the WR position group. As they have stated over and over, I myself would like to have “megatron” as a target for Bradford, but hey, we have what we have and maybe it’s good enough when we also may have one of the best defensive units in the NFL.

    • Blaine Grisak

Thats all you can hope for right? Hopefully these guys will figure it out this year and will be enough to get the job done!

      • Gary Stewart

my pick to click is stedman this year i still dont think we will have a 1000 yard receiver but bailey and cook i project at about 750 each tavon for 600 givens about 550 and the backs should get another 400. thats like 3000 so add in kendricks pettis and possibly britt to add a total of about 500 so for a run first team 3500 yards in the passing game and i estimated about 1800 yards between zac and tre add another 250 for the end arounds etc and you have over 2000 on the ground its not denver like at 5500 yards but with our defense and tavons punt return skill set we should be very competitive!! GO RAMS!!

where is the grade? NFL Network give them an A, and quite a few other analysts give them A. so what was your grade? don’t see it here

    • Blaine Grisak

Strange it should be at the bottom of the Rams page. Anyway, I gave them an A-

      • John Bennett

crazy it never showed up on my phone, cool thanks, works for me lol.thanks for the reply

        • Blaine Grisak

          No prob! Thanks for reading!

Zac Stacy gets 1600 yards this season, you can count on it.Greg Robinson will open holes for our run game.

    • roger paul

I don’t think Stacy gets THAT much…simply because Tre Mason will be running back 1A , so he’ll take some yards away from Zac….but your premise is correct…the Rams will shove the ball down many teams throats this year….Go Rams !!

    • Gary Stewart

when the rams picked robinson i called for zac to get 1500 yards but when we drafted tre mason i changed the number down to about 1200 because i believe mason is the running back by committee guy the rams and fisher covet so i now have zac at 1200 and mason at about 600 making a solid ground attack!!

      • John Bennett

god bless the St Louis Rams running backs!!! die hard Rams fan forever!!!

  • Calvin G Suddeath

According to you,the Rams were going to and should draft Manziel. How did that work out?

    • Blaine Grisak

When did I ever say the Rams should draft Manziel? I always have been and always will be a Bradford supporter. Im not sure he’s the answer to get us into the Super Bowl, but he was better than every single quarterback in this years draft.

  • roger paul

There’s a lot of pressure on Bradford AND the receiving corps this year , especially with the vote of confidence the coach and front office has given them…..i’m a big supporter of both….i think this is the year Quick “gets it” AND i believe Stedman Bailey emerges as the “go to guy”….BUT if all of us supporters are wrong about Sam or the Wr’s , then next year is gonna bring BIG change to both…i REALLY hope that doesn’t turn out to be the case….it would set the team back SEVERAL years….but the defense will win us some games this year so……..Go Rams !
