Rams To Begin OTA's Tuesday

Last week there was a lot of news going around the NFL with teams starting their organized team activities, more commonly known as OTA’s. The Rams however, are getting a late start and will get going this week.

Jeff Fisher takes a different approach than the rest of the league. The rest of the league started their OTA’s as late as Wednesday of last week which left the Rams as the only team who had yet to officially get things started. The Rams are also the only team without a mandatory minicamp in July, that means these OTA’s will be all the Rams have until training camp.

The St. Louis Rams will officially kick off their 2014 OTA’s Tuesday at the Rams Park. Although the Rams have been going through basic practices and workouts to get back in the swing of things since April 21st, the beginning of OTA’s is when things will begin to get a little more serious as they begin to prepare for training camp. This time will be mostly be used to help develop players and make them better.

Here is the official schedule for the Rams’ OTA’s: June 3, June 5-6, June 9-10, June 12, June 16-17, June 19-20.

Q : Why are the Rams the ONLY team without
a mandatory minicamp in July ? Is that Jeff
    Fisher’s call ?

    • Blaine Grisak

That’s all Jeff Fisher, I don’t know why he does it, just his thing I guess. Gotta trust in the ‘stache

Im OK with it. Jeff has ” CLOUT ” in the NFL.
He can just write a waiver for the mandatory
July minicamp. Time in Rank !
