St. Louis Rams vs New York Giants Initial Injury Report

facebooktwitterreddit

The St. Louis Rams take on the New York Giants in their finale at Edward Jones Dome. After a difficult decade, the Rams will have a chance to go .500 or better at home for the third consecutive season. As the season winds down the Rams are getting healthier by the week and because of that they have been playing their best football. Here is this week’s injury report:

St. Louis Rams

C – Scott Wells – Non Injury Related – DNP

Believe it or not, Wells is the only player on the injury list at the beginning of the week. It’s hard to believe as it seemed like earlier in the season everybody on the Rams roster was on the injury report. Thankfully their fortune with the injury bug has changed. Chris Long is healthy, Rodger Saffold is healthy. All good news in St. Louis.

New York Giants

RB – Rashad Jennings – Ankle – DNP

LB Jameel McClain – Knee – DNP

Jennings injured his ankle in last week’s win against the Washington Redskins and it is doubtful that he will play against the Rams. It isn’t official, but his chances of suiting up aren’t good. McClain is dealing with a knee injury. Aside from that the Giants are also on the healthier end of their season, who like the Rams, have had their fair share of the injury bug.

Be sure to stay tuned as the availability of these players becomes available as the week goes on. Both teams are the healthiest they’ve been all season, and with the Giants on a two game win streak, this could be a closer game that some might expect.
