The St. Louis Rams were thought to be at least a wild card team this year, yet with injuries, poor coaching and play calls, they saw another below .500 season. As the season is finally over, it’s time to focus onto the next one and get ready for another year of Rams football. The Rams 2016 opponents is finally set, as they have a very interesting schedule.

The Rams were waiting for the end of the Week 17 matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants as the loser of the game would spend a weekend in London for an international game. The Giants would end up losing the game, as they will play the visitor in London against the St. Louis Rams.

How cool would it have been if the Eagles would have lost, and old Rams quarterback Sam Bradford would be facing off against his former team. However that won’t be happening as the Rams officially have their 2016 opponents set.

2016 St. Louis Rams Opponents.

  • Home: Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants (London)
  • Away: Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Rams will have an uphill battle next season with this tough schedule. They must bring in some help either it be a new quarterback, wide receiver or offensive lineman, in order for them to make the playoffs.

Right off the bat, match-ups against the Panthers, Patriots, Jets seem pretty difficult. No need to worry about any divisional games as the Rams always somehow win those. Then again they beat the Seahawks twice, Cardinals once, yet were not able to finish off the season with a sweep against the hopeless 49ers last season.

Let’s see if the Rams can make some noise in the 2016 season. Playoffs?
