What was once possibly a bad dream for some, is now slowly becoming a reality as the Rams move from St. Louis to Los Angeles slowly becomes official. While it is a process that is obviously difficult for some fans, we tend to forget that this process also effects the players. They have to move their families, their kids have to go to a new school if they have kids, it’s not really an easy process for fan or player.

According to the LA Times, linebacker James Laurinaitis is getting an early jump on things as he has already put his home up for sale. Located in the suburbs of St. Louis the price is starting at $2.3 million. Set in Creve Coeur, an area roughly 30 minutes west of St. Louis, the home has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. That’s enough to house your average American family.

The house three stories which includes a media room, a climate-controlled wine cellar, and a wet bar. Outside the house there is a fire put, a saltwater swimming pool, as well as a raised spa. Record show Laurinaitis bought the home 3 years ago for $1.8-million. To say the least, you could have quite the party in the Laurinaitis household.

The Rams linebacker has played for the team since 2009, never missing a single game. He has been a centerpiece to arguably one of the better defenses in the league accumulating over 100 combined tackles in each of his seven seasons. Last year, he became the Rams’ all-time leading tackler surpassing the great Merlin Olson.

With Laurinaitis putting his home up for sale, the moving process is finally becoming real. The Rams are moving to Los Angeles, a place they left 29 years ago. The team will play in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum until the Inglewood stadium is ready in 2019.
