With the relocation back to Los Angeles, a new hit series show. Could this be too much for the head coach of the Los Angeles Rams in 2016?

Remember the Greatest Show on Turf? It’s been a while since the Rams have put on a show for the whole season without any bumps in the road. Can the Rams bring back the same style of play with the relocation back to Los Angeles? That all falls on current head coach Jeff Fisher. HC Fisher era with the Rams has been very disappointing so far with a team record of 27-36-1 during his four-year span. Could his fifth year be his last with the Rams?

The Rams franchise has not seen a winning record since the year of 2003, as times are getting desperate for this team to win some games. Jeff Fisher has been known for his amount of fake punts or trick plays, but looking on the flip side of that, why are the Rams always placed in those positions?

The offense has been one of the worst in the league in the past couple of years as the Rams have been recycling through quarterbacks. In his 4 year span thus far, Jeff Fisher has coached QB’s Sam Bradford, Kellen Clemens, Austin Davis, Shaun Hill, Nick Foles and Case Keenum. With the passing game, a laughing joke to opposing teams, could Jeff Fisher be saved with hopeful new franchise quarterback Jared Goff? Fisher needs to improve the offense, as he did so in the 2016 NFL Draft. The pieces could come together this year around Jared Goff.

On the Defensive side of the ball, the Los Angeles Rams may have the best defensive line in the game today. Jeff Fisher has a load of first rounders on the line, as they have slowly built up to their peak performance levels. With the new additions of Dominique Easley and Quinton Coples, they add even more scary depth to the Rams D-line.

Fisher also has dealt with relocation before, so this should not be an excuse the first couple of weeks of the season. Can anybody else see Fisher saying something along the lines of “The players are still adapting to the change, but I’m proud of the way they are fighting so far” Nope just me?

Fisher has yet to give the Rams a winning season, and with the excitement of fans welcoming the team back home, a losing season could spell trouble for the veteran coach. Fisher cannot rely on the defense to win games, he must trust Goff and let him fire away. Another year of an underperformed offense will without a doubt lead to another losing season.

Let’s hope Jeff Fisher can get the job done in Los Angeles, but if the Rams are unable to finish above .500, all eyes will be on Fisher. 2016 will be a do or die season for Coach Fisher.
