HBO’s “Hard Knocks” With the Los Angeles Rams Scheduled to Debut Tuesday

The Los Angeles Rams will be the feature of the hit HBO show during their first training camp since moving from St. Louis.

Between selecting Jared Goff as the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft to the big move from St. Louis, football fans on the west coast have plenty of reason to be excited about the Los Angeles Rams this upcoming season. What’s even more exciting for the Rams is the team will be featured on this year’s version of HBO’s Hard Knocks–which is scheduled to debut on Tuesday, August 9 at 10:00 p.m. ET.

The popular network sent a 30-person NFL Films crew to Southern California to cover the Rams’ training camp in Los Angeles for the first time in 22 years and will break up over 1,500 hours of footage into five episodes–with a new episode debuting each week beginning Tuesday. From players getting cut to behind the scenes drama in practice, HBO is ready to provide fans with a closer look of just how tough it is to make it at the NFL level and what players have to go through on a daily basis.

Winner of 14 Sports Emmy Awards, Hard Knocks is entering it’s 11th season after featuring the Houston Texans in 2015 and will be narrated by actor Liev Schreiber once again. Other participants in the series in recent years include the Atlanta Falcons, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Miami Dolphins.
