Los Angeles Rams cornerback Troy Hill has reportedly been arrested for DUI after getting into an accident on Saturday morning.

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Troy Hill allegedly got into an accident with a semi truck on Saturday morning and was busted for DUI on a L.A. freeway.

Here are the details from TMZ’s report:

"Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Sports Hill was driving in a Mercedes on an L.A. freeway around 8 AM Saturday morning. Hill allegedly swerved over multiple lanes and crashed into the back of a semi truck. We’re told Hill showed signs of intoxication, was given a field sobriety test and was arrested on the spot.We’ve reached out to a rep for the team … so far, no word back."

Hill reportedly suffered a busted lip in the crash, but wasn’t in need of medical attention. After being arrested, Hill was released from police custody at 1 p.m. and the team has not released a statement yet.

CBS Los Angeles has more details:

"Hill, 25, was arrested after a collision on the WB 101 Freeway near the Haskell Ave. exit, just west of the 405 Freeway interchange.Hill’s Mercedes rear-ended a big rig, police said.Hill told officers he was on his way to practice."

Hill has played in all nine games for the Rams this season, posting 38 combined tackles and two pass deflections.

This is his first season with the Los Angeles Rams after spending his rookie campaign with the Cincinnati Bengals. Hill joined the Bengals after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon and played in just three games during his time there.
