Los Angeles Rams legend Eric Dickerson cracked a joke about how head coach Jeff Fisher keeps his job.

Los Angeles Rams legend Eric Dickerson is serious about his anger at head coach Jeff Fisher, but that doesn’t mean he can’t have a little fun.

Dickerson has been making the rounds on television and radio talking about how Rams head coach Jeff Fisher disrespected him, and it has led to some interesting quotes to say the least.

However none may be better than Dickerson’s joke about how Fisher might still be employed despite his four-straight losing seasons.

As Dickerson suggested to Gary and Shannon of KFI AM-640, the reason might involve Fisher having some dirt on Rams executives:

Finally there’s some corroboration of what I’ve been saying all along: Fisher must have some kind of dirt on Rams COO Kevin Demoff and/or owner Stan Kroenke.

Of course this is all in good fun, but what isn’t is how the Rams keep Fisher despite compiling a 31-43 record in four-plus seasons as the head coach.

In the past week, Demoff has swooped in to come to Fisher’s defense, saying it’s unfair to judge him based on his record alone. I need not explain why that’s ridiculous, and if I do just look at the previous paragraph.

Fisher is three losses away from earning the dishonor of having the most losses by any head coach in NFL history. Adding to that, he’s also close to becoming just the third head coach ever to survive five losing seasons.
