Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley couldn’t care less about your fantasy football team.

Fantasy football owners have seen their seasons crushed by Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley, and he couldn’t care less.

Gurley has struggled mightily in 2016 and it has caused massive headaches for those fantasy owners who took him early in drafts.

After totaling nearly 1,300 total yards and 10 touchdowns in 13 games during his rookie campaign, Gurley’s production has fallen off a cliff.  He has compiled just 929 total yards and four touchdowns in 12 games this season.

The brother of one fantasy owner shared his displeasure at how Gurley’s lackluster sophomore season hurt his family member’s team:

Gurley responded like this:

I guess this guy is expecting Gurley to pay his brother back?

We’ve seen this scenario time and time again with frustrated fantasy owners lashing out at NFL players. In the grand scheme of things, this tweet was pretty tame. It’s nothing compared to some other horrid things we’ve seen over the years.

What Happened to Todd Gurley?

While some blame can be placed on Gurley for his down season, the majority of the blame lies in an offensive line that is constantly losing the battle upfront. Gurley has had few holes to run through and it doesn’t help that the Rams can’t move the ball through the air, leading to more stacked boxes.

It might be frustrating to get stuck with a disappointing player who has as much upside as Gurley, but that just goes with the territory of fantasy football.

If people had paid attention to Gurley’s slow finish to last season, they would have known he was a risky bet when drafting him. Regardless, Gurley doesn’t care, so you just have to get over it.
