Former Rams QB Kurt Warner Thanks Fans After Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction

After earning a spot in the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame class, former Rams quarterback Kurt Warner took the time to thank fans from all over on social media.

On Saturday, the 2017 Pro Football Hall of Fame class was announced, and as expected, one of the members happens to be former St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner. Even if he was never officially a member of the Los Angeles Rams, Warner will always have a special place in the heart of the organization for all his years running “The Greatest Show on Turf.”

Seeing Warner earn a spot in Canton after going through everything he had to overcome just to have an opportunity to play in the NFL is truly amazing. From being cut by the Green Bay Packers prior at the beginning of the 1994 season to working in a grocery store before his stint in the AFL, it’s been an incredible journey for Warner, and there’s no question he’s beyond thankful for being in this position.

Shortly after the news was released about his Hall of Fame induction, Warner wanted to take the time to give a special thanks to all Rams fans, whether they happen to be living in St. Louis or Los Angeles. It doesn’t matter what city they live in, because Warner knows his fans have always been supportive throughout his career both on and off the field.

The fact that Warner played such a big role in bringing the Rams their only Super Bowl victory in franchise history during the 1999 season after taking over the starting role for Trent Green shows just how special of a player he’ll always be to the organization. To basically go from no NFL experience to a regular season and Super Bowl MVP after throwing for 4,353 yards with 41 touchdowns in his first year as the starter makes an incredible story on Warner’s end.

Congratulations to Warner and his family as Rams fans finally have something to celebrate after their team only finished with four wins during the 2016 season. And who knows, maybe at this time next year, fans will have another player to celebrate after Isaac Bruce was left out of this year’s class.
