The Rams organization sent out a press release Tuesday announcing that they have finalized their entire coaching staff for the upcoming season. It seems like we have heard all of these names at one point or another since Jeff Fisher was hired, but I guess this is the first official list off all the names together and confirmed. Obviously, we all know about Gregg Williams and why he isn’t on the list. Everyone else will be on the staff in the coming season and hopefully beyond.

Here are the names and positions for everyone on the staff:
* Assistant head coach: Dave McGinnis
* Offensive coordinator: Brian Schottenheimer
* Quarterbacks: Frank Cignetti
* Running backs: Ben Sirmans
* Wide receivers: Ray Sherman
* Tight ends: Rob Boras
* Offensive line: Paul Boudreau Sr.
* Asst. offensive line: Andy Dickerson
* Offensive quality control: Andy Sugarman
* Defensive line: Mike Waufle
* Asst. defensive line: Clyde Simmons
* Linebackers: Blake Williams
* Asst. linebackers: Joe Bowden
* Secondary: Chuck Cecil
* Asst. secondary: Brandon Fisher
* Defensive quality control: Dennard Wilson
* Special teams coordinator: John Fassel
* Asst. special teams: Paul Boudreau Jr.

The St. Louis Rams will close out their 2011 season on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, and those in the St. Louis area who won’t be making the trip to the Dome will still be able to watch the finale. After being granted a 24-hour extension from the league to sell the remaining tickets, Rams ownership bought the unsold group to allow the game to be shown.

As much as we like to make jokes about not watching this team anymore, I’m very glad I will be able to catch the game Sunday since I won’t be making it to the game. As bad as things have been, this is still the last chance to see the Rams for eight months or so. Plus, Rams fans actually have reason to tune in on Sunday since the number one pick is on the line. It could also be the last time we are able to see many of the players and, more specifically, the members of the coaching staff before they are forced to find other teams in the offseason.

There is reason to tune in, and ownership has made it possible. You can complain all you want, and you have every right to do so, but I’d still recommend watching at noon on Sunday.

I was reading over Rams beat writer Jim Thomas’ chat tonight like I do every Tuesday, and the vast majority of it was Rams fans venting on how bad this team is and how Stan Kroenke needs to clean house after the season is over. You know, the normal stuff. But then I came upon something I found to be very interesting. When asked what the chances are that quarterback Sam Bradford is able to play this week, Thomas said he believes there is only a 25% chance Bradford is able to go against the Saints. I was under the impression that he was close to being able to play last week, so the fact that the percentage is at 25 on Tuesday of this week is extremely disappointing. For those of you wondering, Thomas put Mark Clayton’s chances of playing at 50/50, so let’s hope he is able to get out there.

As far as Bradford goes, I can’t believe there is only a 25% chance he plays. I know ankle injuries are hard to predict, and it’s still early in the week, but this is very disappointing. I’ve heard some grumblings that certain people in the media believe Bradford should have played last week, but it’s always hard to tell how much these people actually know about the specific injury. I’m not overly concerned about last week because he was coming off the injury a week earlier, and I guess there’s nothing we can do about his status for this week.

According to the coaching staff, they are doing everything possible to get him ready to play. I believe that, too. They have thrown pretty much every type of rehab at that ankle that is available to them, so I can’t fault the staff. Knowing Bradford’s personality, I imagine he is pestering the coaches every day to let him do more. So, I guess we will just have to wait and see. There’s really nothing else we can do, about Bradford or about the rest of the team.
