The St. Louis Rams have signed Kyle Boller. Finally the Rams may have someone to push Marc Bulger. Kyle

Kyle Boller with Tara Reid

Boller is a former first round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens. We now know the Rams will not be signing the “Gus Bus” Gus Frerotte which should be great news to Rams fans. Kyle Boller previously play in Baltimore with the Rams new center Jason Brown. So on the surface this is another solid move by the new St. Louis Rams front office. Boller is only 27 and should be a huge upgrade over Trent Green. No offense to Trent Green but we have to have a backup that we are not afraid to put in a game, and also a backup that has the ability to push Marc Bulger for the starting spot on the roster. Once Joe Flacco came to town, Boller was never able to get on the field in 2008.

St. Louis Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said:

“We are happy to add Kyle to our roster. We feel that he will be a valuable addition to our team.”

At 6’3″ and 220 pounds Kyle is a solid pocket passer. He was known for his outstanding arm coming out of California. Kyle never really had many offensive threats at Baltimore other than Derek Mason. I believe Kyle to be a good QB in the NFL and still has an upside that may not have been seen yet. I can see some fear put into other teams when Boller drops back to throw a deep ball to Donnie Avery.

Off the field Kyle has been linked to Tara Reid & Petra Nemcova.

The Cincinnati Bengals coaching staff along with Jack Del Rio from the Jacksonville Jaguars will coach the South team today in the Under Armour 2009 Senior Bowl from Mobile Alabama. The game will be on the NFL Network starting at 6PM CST. This will be a great chance to take a look at some of the players the St. Louis Rams are scouting for the upcoming 2009 NFL Draft. I want to take a look at Rashad Jennings the fast powerful running back from Liberty. The Rams are in need of a quality back up running back. Rams fans are easily satisfied by players like Kenneth Darby picked up off the street. It is time for the Rams to have higher quality players on their roster from 1 to 53. This will also be a great chance to watch Michael Oher from Mississippi against the best. On defense the trio of USC linebackers will all be in this game Brian Cushing, Clay Matthews and Rey Maualuga.

Rams vs. Jets 4th Quarter Update

Brett Favre and Thomas Jones start the 4th Quarter. How happy would Jets fans be if they were injured?

No worries as Thomas Jones drives in for his third TD of the day 47-3 Jets.

I want to see John Greco play

I want to see Roy Schuening play

Why is the Rams offensive line coach still employed?

As the Jets are driving down the field again I am having thoughts of Matthew Stafford, Michael Other, and Michael Crabtree. Can we have all 3 of them if we lose by 50+ points?

The Jets cap off the game with a 16 play, 11minute and 9 second drive to run out the clock. 47-3 Final

Rams manage 2 total yards in the 4th quarter

New York Jets remain tied for first place while knocking the Rams back into last place at 2-7.

Will the St. Louis media come out and question the 65 million dollars given to Mark Bulger?

Do most of the Rams fans still want to give Jim Haslett a long term contract?

The Rams are now allowing 31.3 points a game

Today’s Leaders: Passing Green – 70, Rushing Darby – 32, Receiving Pittman – 38

Next week we will take on the San Francisco 49ers (2-6)

That’s a wrap…
