1. Todd Gurley

Cards on the table, there’s a good chance that Gurley is going to be considered the top performer for the Rams when it comes to fantasy football heading into each game, although that doesn’t necessarily mean he’s always going to end up having the best games. Yes, it was amazing to see Gurley find the end zone three times in Week 2 to help the Rams pull off an easy victory over the Cardinals, but his rushing total could have been better.

As mentioned before, Gurley only averaged 2.2 rushing yards per carry during last weekend’s contest against Arizona, and he didn’t even lead the team in rushing yards since those honors went to Malcolm Brown. Gurley most likely would have finished on top anyway if the team didn’t play it safe by removing him from the game due to cramping, but most importantly, the Rams could afford to make this move since the game was well over when this happened.

With a full week to rest, Gurley will be in for another heavy workload to put the Rams in great position to improve to 3-0 with a tough battle against the defense of the Chargers. Whether it’s through the air or on the ground, Gurley will be ready to do whatever the Rams ask from him, and if all goes well, will make plenty of fantasy football owners quite happy in the process.
