2. Rams wrap up road trip on high note

After beginning the year on the road against the Oakland Raiders, the Rams received an early favor for the rest of September from the NFL by having three games in a row at home before what was expected to be a rough three-game road trip. Whether it was beginning the trip with a win over the Seattle Seahawks or barely getting by in cold weather when facing the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles has plenty to be proud of from their trip away from home.

Even more exciting, Sunday’s win over the 49ers means the Rams will enter the final two months of the regular season with a 4-0 record on the road since their Week 8 battle with the Green Bay Packers happens to be at home. Playing away from home in the NFL is never an easy task since some teams struggle to deal with the different conditions or hostile environments, but watching Los Angeles win these games the way they did makes it clear this team is ready for any challenge standing in their way.

Sunday’s game against the 49ers may not have been as competitive as the first two contests of the trip, but even the Rams know there are no guarantees when it comes to the NFL. So while defeating San Francisco seemed easy on paper, Los Angeles knew this game could have easily gone the other way without the proper preparation.
