3 reasons Rams should be rooting for Seahawks to fall short of playoffs
By Dan Parzych
1. Both regular season meetings were close
Any Rams fan that believes the team going 2-0 during the regular season against the Seahawks would result in the team having little trouble defeating them for a third time in the playoffs would most likely end up regretting that statement.

As if winning by two points in Seattle wasn’t already enough of a nail biter for Los Angeles the first time around, it was only a few weeks ago in which McVay’s squad barely escaped with another win after only winning by five points in that one.
In other words, if the two meetings during the regular season are any indication of what to expect if the Rams and Seahawks were to face off in the playoffs, football fans would be in for quite the treat.
But most importantly, Los Angeles would need to make sure they take the necessary mindset of just because they were successful during the regular season against Seattle doesn’t mean it’s going to happen again.
If anything, the Rams would arguably be facing additional pressure since it’s never easy to defeat one individual team three times in a single season. Los Angeles may be viewed as one of the favorites to represent the NFC in Atlanta come February, but as every football fan knows, nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the NFL playoffs, especially if a dangerous team like Seattle stands in the way.
