3. First back-to-back losses in McVay era

As bad as it sounds, this is a new level of pressure for McVay when seeing how he’s never dealt with the Rams suffering two losses in a row since coming on board as the new head coach before the 2017 season.

Dating back to last year, McVay has drawn heavy praise for being one of the top head coaches in the NFL when looking at how quickly he’s made Los Angeles a serious contender in the NFC. And while this is obviously still the case despite the loss to the Eagles, this certainly doesn’t have the Rams feeling good at the moment.

Facing a team like Philadelphia was supposed to help Los Angeles overcome some of the issues they were dealing with over the last couple of weeks, whether it was their inability to score or simply poor play at times on the defensive side of the football.

Now that McVay and company have experienced back-to-back losses for the first time over the last two years, it’s extremely important to do whatever is necessary to turn things around in Week 16 before it’s too late.

Otherwise, it’s only going to make the Rams look like an early candidate to be eliminated right away in the playoffs for a second year in a row as well.
