Ranking potential opponents Rams should fear the most in 2019 Divisional Round
By Dan Parzych
2. Chicago Bears
Words can’t even describe how much of a disaster the regular season meeting was for the Rams against the Chicago Bears since this was easily one of their worst games of the 2018 season.
Between Jared Goff tossing four interceptions along with Todd Gurley being limited to rushing for just 28 yards on 11 carries, this loss to Chicago was a major wake-up call for Los Angeles when it comes to proving where they stand in the NFC.
With that being said, the Rams will get the opportunity to get revenge on the NFC North champions if the Bears manage to finish on the winning end Sunday afternoon when they host the defending champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Thanks to Chicago having one of the league’s top defenses, the Bears have every reason to love their chances of earning a win in this one.
Also, as tough as it was for the Rams to put up points during their first meeting with the Bears, at least if this Divisional Round matchup were to happen, it would take place in Los Angeles instead of Chicago. In other words, the Rams are beyond thrilled to have held on to the No. 2 seed to avoid the complete opposite of this scenario.
