Justin Coleman

Around this time last year, the Rams were uncertain about the cornerback position since it became clear early on that keeping Trumaine Johnson around was going to end up being way too expensive, which turned out to be exactly the case.

Not only did Los Angeles pull off a surprise trade with the Kansas City Chiefs to land Marcus Peters, but the team also acquired Aqib Talib from the Denver Broncos to give them a new duo at the position.

While there were times in which these two came up big for the Rams on defense, there were also plenty of frustrating times as well, meaning the team could look into additional cornerbacks once free agency gets underway.

Over the last two seasons, Justin Coleman has managed to appear in all 32 games for the Seahawks, and put together a strong enough 2018 campaign to draw interest from numerous teams looking to improve at cornerback.

Of course, the chances of Coleman joining the Rams could be slim if Peters and Talib are still part of the picture, but for the NFC champions, all options need to be on the table, especially if it means their chances of making another run to reach the Super Bowl will increase.
