2. Grady Jarrett

Back in 2015, the Falcons had nothing to lose when they made the decision to select Clemson’s Grady Jarrett in the fifth round of the NFL Draft, and thank goodness they did since the defensive tackle has played a key role on defense.

After limited in action as a rookie, Jarrett took a major leap during his sophomore campaign by starting 14 of 16 games for Atlanta while recording three sacks and 48 combined tackles.

Most importantly, Jarrett is arguably coming off his best season in 2018 by setting a career high with six sacks to go along with three forced fumbles, although it would have been more exciting to see the Falcons earn a trip to the playoffs.

If last season is any indication of what the future has in store, Jarrett could be just scratching the surface of his true NFL potential, which could lead to quite a hefty contract this offseason.

Plenty of teams will be expressing interest in Jarrett if Atlanta allows him to hit the open market, and there’s no question Los Angeles needs to be on that list of potential suitors since the thought of him joining a defense run by Wade Phillips sounds promising.
