3. Latavius Murray

Despite the somewhat crowded backfield in Minnesota over the last two seasons, this hasn’t prevented Latavius Murray from finding ways to be productive when taking into consideration that he’s managed to find the end zone 14 times.

At this point in his career, Murray doesn’t seem too concerned over being the No. 2 option at running back since the veteran fully understands he’s not getting any younger. And while the Vikings seem to be hinting at the possibility of bringing Murray back for another season with the team, plenty can change from now until the start of free agency.

For example, what if a team would be willing to offer Murray a little more money along with a larger role in their respected offense? This may only seem like speculation right now, but stuff like this happens all the time when it comes to the NFL.

As for how Murray would fit in an offense like the Rams, well it should be noted this scenario only makes sense if C.J. Anderson were to end up signing with a different team since the very same reasons discussed before could happen with him as well.

Similar to what his situation would be in Minnesota, if Murray were to express interest in Los Angeles, the only difference would be backing up Todd Gurley instead of Dalvin Cook.
