3 Running backs for the LA Rams round 2 pick

The Rams may shy away from taking a first-round running back in future drafts. It’s highly doubtful that LA would want to pay a hefty price tag again. You never know especially if the next Eric Dickerson emerges.

The total value of the Rams’ pick in round 2 is estimated to be $6,124,792 through four years, according to overthecap.com. The Rams would have the fifth-year option to pick up as a reward for an excellent play performance. Hopefully, he can stay healthy.

First, J.K. Dobbins is the obvious choice to draft as the 52nd overall pick. Dobbins played collegiately at Ohio State University. He ran for 4,459 yards with 38 touchdowns in three seasons of college football.

Next, Clyde Edward-Helaire, of LSU, would be the second choice in round 2. In 2019, he ran for 1414 yards with 16 touchdowns en route to the national championship. Also, he caught 55 passes and could be considered a dual-threat runner.

Finally, Zack Moss ran for 4067 yards with 38 touchdowns in four seasons at Utah. At the NFL Combine, Moss ran a 4.65-second 40-yard dash. He bench-pressed 225 pounds 19 times.

In case the Rams decide to select a quarterback, there are more quality players available in round 3. LA might pick on of these three in round 3.
