St. Louis Rams Moving?

That’s right you read that correctly the St. Louis Rams are moving. The St. Louis Post Dispatch reported on Sunday along with the local TV channels that Scott Linehan wants the Rams to move their camp from Rams Park to another location, preferably a location where the Rams can practice against another NFL team. The out of town location for the 2008 training camp is still undecided.  The last 3 years the Rams have practiced in front of local fans at Rams Park. Prior to 2005 the Rams training camp was held in Macomb Illinois at Western Illinois University.  Possible new locations are the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and Missouri State. From what I heard from Andy Strickland on the Team 1380 Roll Home, it looks like Macomb will once again be the choice. Most college locations already have events planned or issues with new turf/grass going in. I believe the Rams are trying to do everything different in 2008 which is the reason for this move, nothing else.

I would like to hear from you. Do you think this move will be fair to the 1500 daily fans that attend the training camp?
