St. Louis Rams For Sale?

St. Louis Rams For SaleMichael Silver of Yahoo Sports reported on Tuesday that the St. Louis Rams are for sale. Well isn’t that nice. Season ticket bills were due May 1st, back when Chip Rosenbloom and daughter Lucia Rodriguez were so happy to own the Rams and were going to do everything in their power to keep them in St. Louis. Well welcome to reality and greed only a couple of months later. Once again the Rams organization is doomed by the simple fact that it is being run by non-football people. In typical John Shaw, president of the St. Louis Rams fashion, he declined to comment on the team’s potential sale. The Rams lease is up in 2012 at the Edward Jones Dome. The Rams just came in at #111 in the 2008 ESPN franchise rankings. The Edward Jones Dome has been taking a beating lately by fans and media alike. Fans are not going to want to buck up for a new stadium only 13 years later. Will the Rams really move again? Do you care? Please write us and let us know your thoughts?

somebody is going to be the new team in LA. i don’t think it’ll be the rams. and what the hell is the matter with the dome? my brother is a huge rams fan and makes a trek to see them once a year. we live in n.iowa and he’s in heaven to have his rams here. he almost pissed his pants when he heard the rams may camp at u of lacrosse wisc. thats an hour drive for him and he used to go see the saints and rams scrimage up there all the time. he got jim everetts autograph jersy when jim was with the saints. he said the facility is one of the best game sites in the league and the surrounding stlouis area is a great vacation destination. him and his wife love the ambieance that historic stlouis offer the site-seer. why would they consider moving, besides money of corse????

why don’t anheuser-busch buy em out and use the rams for advertising???

It’s always a possibility. I hope they return home to LA. They still have a fanbase here in California. Like most teams, you really start seeing people wearing Rams stuff when they are winning. A major Market like LA without a team? IF the owners can get their heads out of their Ass, and build a winner or even competitive team, the fans will come out. The key is winner.

Way to go Billy! LA fans only support the Lakers and only when they are winning. They just don’t want anyone else to have the Rams. There is still no true NFL stadium out there, the Rams are not going to return to LA anytime soon. Maybe they should check into the Vikings or Jags, those teams or likely to move before the Rams.

War Memorial stadium down in Little Rock would be a good place for an NFL team, would need some upgrades, but Arkansas sure could us a professional team of any sport.  We are so far behind the times it’s rediculous.  Just a thought, and it wouldn’t be too far from St. Louis if they ended up moving.

Let them go back to L.A. St. Louis was a good opener, but it has been down hill for them there.
