Thank You Fort Zumwalt West Football Team

We would like to thank the Fort Zumwalt West football team for a great season, which came to an end Friday night after losing 44-18 to the Jeff City Jays. The Jaguars finish the season 9-3 and gave us some exciting moments and explosive plays during the season. I was up in Kansas City to take in a Chiefs game so I was unable to see this game. I knew with the bad weather Friday night that the power running game would give the Jays the edge. However both teams have to play on the same field so the Jays deserve to move on to face Blue Springs South Jaguars.

I would like to congratulate and thank Head Coach Paul Day, their talented QB T.J. Moe, and the rest of the Jaguars for their 9-3 season. For those of you that did not get to see a Fort Zumwalt West football game you missed one of the best offenses in the state. The Jaguars averaged 49 points per game and were led by T. J. Moe. Moe has a verbal commitment to play at the University of Missouri. Moe is lightning quick at 6′ 180 pounds. Moe had a remarkable year for the Jaguars. Moe finished the season with 61 total touchdowns! That is correct 61 touchdowns in 12 games played. In addition he accounted for 4486 total yards. Moe averaged 5 TDs and 373 total yards per game, truly amazing. We look forward to watching Moe play for the Missouri Tigers.
