Donnie Jones Gets The Boot!

Donnie Jones who is first in the NFL with a 50.2 punting average, and third in the NFL with a 40.9 net yard average, was snubbed for the 2009 NFL Pro Bowl. Jeff Feagles from the New York Giants will represent the NFC. Feagles is currently 20th in the NFL with a 44 yard punting average. It is no surprise that no other Rams are on this years roster, however how can you overlook Donnie Jones? Jones has been solid game in and game out. The St. Louis Rams are 31st in points allowed at 29.8. It is hard to believe the Rams could be worse but imagine if Jones was not pushing teams back 50 yards all the time. Well the NFL may not recognize you but will. Donnie you are our Pro Bowl punter no matter what they say!
