with a defensive head coach, i see them drafting D. but what ranks up there better than one of those highly touted offensive tackles at this point? pro-scouts tout andre smith #1 tackle? i say he’s the guy

I think they should shoot for Crabtree, Tory Holt is an outstanding receiver, but I think it’s about time for him to step down.  Crabtree is no doubtedly the best up and coming receiver in the draft.  I think they should jump on him while they have the chance.

    Welcome Anthony
I originally selected Crabtree. He will help the offense, give us a playmaker, replace Tory Holt eventually, provide a large target finally for Bulger, and he is worthy (we hope) of #2 type money. If you are going to play Pace and Barron for one more year why get a rookie OT to sit on the bench when the team has a bunch of holes? Spagnuolo is from the NFC East so I think he will try to make this team a lot bigger so I would not be surprised if we took an OT at #2 but I think there are other ways to go. I like Crabtree which helps the offense and should help the defense as well. Then Alex Mack in the 2nd round as a new stud center to build in the line around. Then they need to get better on the D side whoever that may bring here. We need a ton of linebackers on this team, only Witherspoon is a legit starter in my opinion and he is playing out of position.

seen a mock from luckylester, he has smith going #1 to det and stafford the qb to stl.???? he said the bulger experiment is over.???

  • Stlvinnie

Where is the Luckylester mock? The Rams can not draft a QB at #2 because they will not eat the Bulger salary in 2009 for a QB that is not ready to play in 09′

  • Hi im Ted & im a ramaholic

There are a lot of holes on both sides of the ball, hopefully we’ll address most in free agency  . Our sputtering  offense is the biggest problem, the solution Crabtree  . #1 were not going to find a wr like him in free agency  . #2 have you seen what Fitzgerald does for cards, or what giants look like without  Burris  . I realize wr is not our biggest need that would be ss, and a true mlb (Witherspoon is an olb), and ofcourse back up rb, even if steven stays healthy we need fresh legs off the bench and right now we have a big drop in tallant when 39 goes out  .
