When free agency starts in July 28 and thanks eddiep for informing us about that. The Rams should be targeting a wide receiver and defensive players. Two receivers isn’t enough for a young good young quarterback. We still need a veteran player who can go deep, which we needed very bad in Week 17 against Seattle. Who can do that for us? Mark Clayton can but we already know he is coming back. Now that people are saying that Danny shouldn’t be worked too much. We will need another wide receiver at slot and one of our rookies can take Danny’s place when he is sitting. Still need another receiver on the right. Donnie Avery he is okay but not very good going deep. Not saying he isn’t just not there yet.
Let me just get to it. The Rams in my opinion should target Moss over every receiver in free agency. I am a big moss fan by the way and he still has something left. He caught 300 yards from three different teams. That’s hard for a receiver, to adjust to a new playbook and quarterback. Especially in Tennessee they had 3 different quarterbacks throwing him the ball. The Titans only took him for revenge on the Rams. (Super Bowl 34) The one handed grab on the best corner in the league should’ve had a lot of teams trying to get him. The thing is touchdowns are better than yards. So he didn’t have a bad season. Just was low in yards; really low. If anyone disagrees that we should target him. The only I would agree with you, is that he has a mouth. The Rams have zero tolerance of that. I hope that Randy just play the game and not showboat like that picture.
