Overall, this game might be one we look back on with regret at the end of the season. This was a winnable game, and the Rams beat themselves. If we would finish a game short of the playoffs in 2011 like we did in 2010, there’s no doubt that tonight will stand out as one that could have been the difference. I said it last week, and I’ll say it again. I’ve seen enough good things that make me think this team is still the best in the NFC West, but if the Rams don’t quit playing undisciplined and beating themselves, it’s going to be a long and disappointing season. Don’t jump off the bandwagon yet, but feel free to be angry and frustrated for now. Don’t give up, but know that these Rams still have a long way to go before they are ready to live up to the hightened expectations that have been placed on them for 2011.
